Islanders Drop Sloppy Game With 1 Minute Left

It was a sloppy game and the Islanders played down to the level of the Wild. A turnover led to Owen Nolans' game winning goal with 1:07 left. Martin Biron has just been unable to come up with the big save at crunch time to earn his team points.

The Islanders were 0-6 on the power play, though they did generate many chances they came up empty.

John Tavares' 5 game point scoring streak came to an end.
