With the win, the Islanders finished the month of October at 4-4-5. They are currently riding a 5 game unbeaten in regulation streak (3-0-2) and are making positive strides daily. Coach Scott Gordon, whom i've been critical of, deserves praise.
John Tavares recorded an assist and now has a point in 3 straight games.
The Islanders will take on the struggling Oilers tomorrow night at the Coliseum.
